American actress and singer Pia Zadora, best known for working as a child actress on Broadway and playing in the films "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" and "Butterfly", is rumored to have succumbed to plastic surgery to turn back the hands of time.
Judging by the make-up free mugshot on June 2013, one can easily notice that Zadora, now 61, may have experimented with plastic surgery.
It is well known that Pia has been living outside of Las Vegas for several years, since her marriage to Michael Jeffries. The sun can cause great damage to somebody's skin and, of course, the star is well aware of the fact.
Zadora has gained weight over the years, which has helped to fill out her facial skin from any wrinkles. She likely uses a filler like Juvederm in cheeks to keep them full and plump.
Botox is a popular treatment among celebrities, but the actress doesn't appear to make use of the procedure. She possibly performed a gentle upper lift, which could be combined with botox.
New York plastic surgeon expert Dr. Richard Westreich was quoted as saying: "From the looks of her mug shot there has definitely been some weight gain and, likely some overzealous mid-facial filler. It doesn't look like Botox has been used, since the upper eyelids are a little loose. A Botox brow lift might be a good recommendation for Pia at this point."
"Her skin has maintained pretty well and I wouldn't be surprised if there was some laser treatments in the past," Dr. Westreich added.
